About Tomisa Safaris

Born in Tanzania. Built around experience.

Our Story

Born in Tanzania. Built around experience.

Tomisa Safaris was created from a passion for Tanzania's landscapes, wildlife, people and mountains. Our approach is simple: to offer journeys that take you beyond the standard tourist route.

From the savannahs of the Serengeti to the communities of Lake Eyasi and Lake Natron, and from Mount Meru to the summit of Kilimanjaro, every journey we design is built around connection, discovery and responsible travel.

Our founder

Isaya Kasini

Isaya Kasini is a Sonjo tribesman whose roots are part of the story Tomisa tells. His connection to Tanzania is personal—not simply a destination on a map, but a home shaped by people, landscapes and traditions. That perspective informs the way Tomisa approaches travel: with curiosity, respect and a desire to make each journey meaningful.

Tomisa was formed to bring that perspective into carefully planned safaris, cultural encounters and mountain journeys, welcoming guests to experience Tanzania with local insight and thoughtful care.

Our team

Our team brings together people with practical experience across safari guiding, mountain trekking, trip planning and guest support. We share a commitment to thoughtful preparation, safe and well-paced journeys, respect for local culture, and tourism that values Tanzania’s wildlife and natural places. From the first enquiry to the final day on the road, we work together to make each experience feel personal, organised and welcoming.
