8 Days / 7 Nights · Lake Manyara • Lake Eyasi • Ngorongoro • Serengeti
Every day is designed to feel like part of the story rather than a transfer between points on a map. Open each day to explore the purpose, atmosphere and character of the journey. This is a planning framework; Tomisa confirms the final route, accommodation and timing around your travel dates.
Settle into northern Tanzania and travel toward the Lake Manyara area. The opening day keeps the pace comfortable while placing you close to the Rift Valley landscapes that shape the next stage of the journey.
Explore the forest, plains, lakeshore and escarpment scenery of Lake Manyara. The park is particularly rewarding for travellers who enjoy varied habitats and birdlife as much as large mammals.
Begin early for Lake Eyasi and a community-led Hadzabe experience. The focus is learning rather than spectacle: walking with local guides, hearing about traditional knowledge, observing bush skills and understanding the relationship between people and the landscape. Photography should always follow community guidance and consent.
Leave the lake region and travel toward the Ngorongoro highlands. The journey changes from the dry Rift Valley floor to cooler upland landscapes, creating a natural transition from the cultural chapter back into wildlife country.
Descend into the crater for a full wildlife day. The concentrated habitats allow a strong range of encounters while the crater walls create a spectacular sense of place.
Cross into Serengeti with time for game viewing along the way. The landscape becomes increasingly open as the crater highlands give way to the plains.
Slow down and give the Serengeti a full day. Your guide can focus on wildlife tracking, photography, the seasonally relevant area of the park and the type of experience your group enjoys most.
Take a final wildlife drive before your onward connection. Extend with additional Serengeti nights, a flight, Zanzibar or another Tomisa experience if your travel window allows.
